Welcome to Partio. By accessing our platform or connecting with party vendors through our service across Sussex, you agree to the following terms.
1. Platform Overview
Partio is a marketplace where parents book independent vendors' available slots online across Sussex. Contracts for services are formed directly between parent and vendor; Partio takes bookings and payment on the vendor's behalf.
2. Bookings & Arrangements
A booking is confirmed when payment in full is received (or immediately where no payment applies). Parents pay the full amount up front to lock in their date. Parents confirm dietary requirements, venue details, and access specifics in the booking notes and directly with the vendor. Final guest numbers and dietary add-ons can be adjusted up to 7 days before the party date.
3. Vendor Obligations & Insurance
All vendors participating on Partio warrant that they hold valid Public Liability Insurance, relevant local authority food hygiene ratings where applicable, maintain all necessary safety standards required by UK law, keep their availability calendar up to date in Partio, and honour confirmed bookings.
4. Partio Service & Protection Fee
Orders show the package price and a Partio service & protection fee before payment. The fee is 15% on orders under £50, 12% on orders from £50 to £350, and 8% on orders over £350. The fee is shown separately at checkout, and payment is taken in full on the total including the fee.
5. Cancellations & Refunds
Parents can move or cancel online from their booking link up to 7 days before the start time. Cancelling at least 7 days before refunds your payment in full; later cancellations and no-shows forfeit payment. If a vendor cancels, your payment is refunded in full. In the rare event of a dispute, Partio will act in good faith to assist in reaching an amicable resolution.
